The Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival is the world's biggest annual winter festival that takes place with a theme in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China.
At first, mainly Chinese participated, but in the last decade, it has become an international festival and competition. As the festival grows in international participation, and as China's economy grows, the size of the snow sculptures and ice architecture exhibits keeps growing. The work going into making these exhibits is astounding, and their size and beauty are amazing.

Thaipusam or Thaipoosam is a festival celebrated by the Tamil community across the globe at the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai, usually corresponding with Pushya Nakshatra, known as Poosam in Tamil. The festival is also observed in Malaysia among tamilites and is vernacularly called Thaipooyam.
On this day devotees worship Lord Murugan seeks his blessings to eradicate problems from their life. 
Batu cave in Malaysia is the main attraction during the festival,  more than 10 thousand tourists gathered at Batu cave to celebrate the festival.
